Thank you for the link, and the for the link earlier this week.

I think your example is very applicable to our discussion of the local church. If we view the local church as an organization, then they were right in excluding you - you were not part of the organization. I&#039;m not sure that this understanding of the church can be found in Scripture.

If, instead, we view the local church as all of the believers with whom we interact regularly - which, to me, seems to be the model that we see in Scripture - then they were wrong to exclude you.

I&#039;m going to continue discussing the differences between viewing the church as an organization and view the church as people. Thank you for taking part.
