When a new student walks into a new uncomfortable setting, I think FIRST thing they want to know is &quot;Is this a school where I can fit in and make friends?&quot;

Second, they ask, &quot;What is the dress code like?&quot;

Third, &quot;Are the teachers here cool and smart?&quot;

I think we as teachers overestimate our students to expect we are professionally smart and have it all together. But, in most cases, they are just high schoolers--teenagers, not adults!</description>
